The situation in Ukraine is currently confusing. Russian troops are fighting with Ukrainian defenders in many parts of the country. There is already street fighting in the capital, Kiev. Rockets and bombs are hitting residential neighborhoods.
In this situation, Samarita Bund Kiev is appealing for donations. As a long-time partner of Samarita Bund Kiev, we stand by our colleagues and friends in Ukraine and ask you today for help and a donation that we will forward to Kiev.
What you enable with your donation is direct financial help for the procurement of relief supplies:

- Medical supplies
- Medicines
- Hygiene articles
The team of Samariter Bund Kiev has been supporting people in Kiev with food and aid packages for many years. Until now, the work was focused on the poor and helpless people. Unfortunately, the current situation has changed everything. Kiev is a big city with about 3 million inhabitants.
The existing infrastructure of the organization in Kiev makes it possible to distribute the aid packages in Kiev and its surroundings. Vehicles are available to make deliveries to the citizens of Kiev throughout the city.
However, what is currently missing are food and aid packages in sufficient quantities. Our association Brücke nach Kiew e.V., is already in the process of providing funds to finance these packages. However, we and especially the people of Kiev need even more help to support the Bevelkörung of Kiev in this emergency.
