What is a good business idea?
Maybe it’s an idea that is profitable not only for a few people, but for the community. For example, a chicken farm that supplies eggs to the entire village. Maybe it is an idea that not only recognizes a drawback in society, but also resolves it: Like a solar panel that can be rented to charge a cell phone, while also providing a sustainable energy supply.
The aim of the projects here is almost always the independence and empowerment of the people that just need a little start-up aid – so that they can help themselves. Just like the young women in the picture above: they have learned traditional methods to stitch and sew. With this knowledge, they produce bags now being sold all over the world.
Donate on betterplace.org for meetings of women with microcredit, finance a vocational training, or donate the startup capital for the foundation of a small shop.
Do you have your own social business project and want to raise funds? Your project is already registered on betterplace.org but does not pop up here? Or do you want your birthday guest to invest in these projects instead of a bottle of sparkling wine? Do you need volunteers to help you make your idea come true?
