Literacy Aid Uganda was founded in the yeaqr 200 after several outcries of women who needed to know how to read and write. Therfore since then, at LAU, we offer basic adult education, advocate for the girl-child education. Educate children through chikd sponsorship, offer vocational skills training in tailoring, weaving and carpentry. Advocate for HIV/AIDS prevention and awarness, offer self help projects or self-relaiance like poultry etc. We are also setting up a tarining centre to cater for the teenage mothers.
