About us
There are many sports clubs in Berlin. We are a sports club for women/lesbians, trans*, inter* and girls. SEITENWECHSEL was founded in 1988.
Today, our association is a queer-feminist learning and movement space that is shaped by full-time and many volunteers. We want the participation and self-determination of WomenLesbiansTrans*Inter* and girls in sport and elsewhere.
We fight against all forms of discrimination. We reject all forms of discrimination. We want to create the safest possible spaces for this. Everyone should feel comfortable with us.
Seitenwechsel has almost 1,000 club members in over 75 sports groups. There are also school study groups and project groups. We offer a colourful mix of different sports. The focus of our activities is on the fun of movement and togetherness. In many projects, the association is active in sports politics. We also try to change the world outside of Seitenwechsel!

Unsere Kreuzberger Kängurus hatten ein erfolgreich
...es sind viele neue Mädchen dazugekommen- die anderen sind geblieben und die Gruppe ist eine wunderschöne Gemeinschaft.
Wir hatten diverse Netzwerktage mit unseren PartnerInnen in diesem Jahr und eine Menge gemeinsamer Begegnungen. Ihr solltet unbedingt unsere Webseite besuchen : Mädchenbasketballaktion denn es hat sich viel getan in der MBA. Wir blicken mit viel Freude und Optimismus auf 2010 denn dann wird es richtig losgehen. Neue Teams sind in den vier Vereinen in Planung, neue, spannende Aktionen werden stattfinden und die Mädchen werden das erste Mal zusammen eine Reise machen.
