Rotary club of Makindye is part of the Global Rotary International network, dedicated to humanitarian service ethical leadership and advancing goodwill and peace locally and internationally over the years.
The Rotary Club of Makindye - Club no. 26466, was Chartered on 23/5/1988 in District 9213, in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. Rotary Club of Makindye develops and implements projects in line with Rotary International focus areas namely.

Rotary Club of Makindye chose to uplift education and water and sanitation status of St. Kizito Primary School in Luvumbula, Mpigi district effective Rotary year 2024/2025 up to 2027/2028.
