About us
The Mountain Rescue Munich (Bergwacht München) is an organizational unit within the Mountain Rescue Bavaria (Bergwacht Bayern) in the Bavarian Red Cross and operates mountain and cave rescues on the basis of the Bavarian Rescue Service Act.
The tasks of Mountain Rescue Munich (Bergwacht München) include:
1) Helping and rescuing hikers and climbers as well as injured skiers and snowboarders in distress.
2) Nature conservation in the mountains
3) Assistance regarding medical services
