About us
The historic old town is the heart of Wangen im Allgäu and needs many friends, so ist strikes strong. These friends can be found at "Altstadt- und Museumsverein Wangen e. V".
Our task is the preservation and animation of our historic old town, the customs and the home culture.
We protect our cultural heritage and make it accessible in the honorary care of the city museum, organize lectures, exhibitions and historical plays on local history and customs.
We publish books and writings, we actively promote the preservation of monuments and keep our city's history alive.
We support the secondary schools in history lessons with our medieval project and make city history for children between 6 - 14 years in our museum club come alive.
There is still much to tell, what we do and have already done: Just have a look at us! We're glad!
