About us

The association carries a unique long-term monitoring of the ecology of hole nesting passerines, such as titmice, pied fly catcher and nuthatches, dormice (edible dormice and common dormice), bats and insects. Currently, the main focus lies on the effects of climate change on the different species of animals.

In the field of natural pedagogics, we offer exciting insights into nature and research day in courses, lectures and excursions for children, young people and adults. In 2012, a project on solitary insects and wild bees was launched with various institutions. The research station has more than 20 hectares of ecologically managed orchards, which focus on the preservation of this particular biotope as well as the old locality and the protection of various animal species.
