We, nine like-minded people founded the association "Active for Africa e.V." on March 15, 2008 in Fürstenfeldbruck.
We offer people in Africa help to help themselves. Our help is initially concentrated on villages in Ghana.
We plan, support and realize self-help projects that are suitable to improve living conditions and work opportunities. Disadvantaged people in rural areas should be given the opportunity to earn their own living.
We promote and support manageable projects. Cooperation with local people is the most important prerequisite for sustainable success. Personal visits and relationships already established with trustworthy local contacts facilitate implementation and help ensure that the funds reach where they are needed.

Wir haben 579,32 € Spendengelder erhalten
Für das Projekt Spar- und Kreditbox Oparekrom/Ayeu stellen wir den Frauen der beiden Dörfer zwei Metallboxen mit je einem Schloss und einem kleinen Startkapital von je € 200,00 pro Dorf zur Verfügung. Wir lassen Sparbücher und Informationsbroschüren in Suhum drucken. Jede Frau bekommt davon jeweils eins. Die Frauengruppe trifft sich regelmässig jeden Monat mindestens einmal, in den ersten drei Monaten sogar alle zwei Wochen. Wir organisieren die Trainings- und FollowUp-Veranstaltungen in beiden Dörfern mit unserem Trainer Owusu Kwasi, der ein ortsübliches Honorar und Benzingeld bekommt.
