YOUR OPPORTUNITY: GUEST RELATIONS (CSS)
At Mind & Life Europe, we connect people to develop new ideas for human well-being. The Contemplative Science Symposium (CSS) is our biggest event at the edge of Western science and Eastern wisdom traditions. Support us with your time!
Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
... Welcoming the guests and advise them to their seats
... Supporting the guests in finding their way around the venue
... Informing the guests about the program
... Languages: you must be able to speak English as this is our working language.
... Reimbursements: as a nonprofit organization, we run the CSS on a limited budget. That's we can't reimburse any travel or accomodation costs.
... Thank you: we'd like to express our gratitude your support which is why we invite you to experience the amazing concert by world-renowned Gabriela Montero.
THE SYMPOSIUM (OVERVIEW):
The Contemplative Science Symposium (CSS) is our European event at the edge of Western science and Eastern wisdom traditions. Mind & Life-Co-Founders Francisco J. Varela (neuroscientist) and His Holiness the Dalai Lama coined our Mind & Life Europe vision significantly and started interdisciplinary dialogues. With these dialogues and lead initiatives, we turn our insights into action, e.g. in the area of edcuation.
Following our theme "BEYOND CONFINES - Intregrating Science, Consciousness and Society" we bring together internationally renowned speaker like Dan Siegel, Wolf Singer and Roshi Joan Halifax.
Over the course of three days, we connect people from six different areas in order to learn from and inspire each other:
Education, Philosophy, Politics, Nutrition, Economics, Neuroscience.
With innovative formats like interactive workshops and panels as well as holistic experiences like meditation or yoga, we address mind and body. Through this, we open spaces to jointly develop new ideas. Learn more on our website: www.europeansymposium.org
