Thank you for the donations to further complete the works at the Community Learning Center in Gbarnga. We still need funds to complete the works. We have been able to complete the walls now and the roof beams are getting mounted. We work with the local teams and construction companies on a tight plan to close the building in the next months. As you will see on the pictures, work is all manual labor and there are hardly machinery in use. And as it happened already with other material, the specifications have not been kept for all deliveries. The returns and new deliveries create delays - our budget is on a strict control, we do not provide payments unless the original agreed specifications have been delivered.

WOOD TREATMENT- AFTER THE WOOD WAS PURCHASE THE FIRST TIME IT WAS REPLACED WITH ANOTHER SET OF GOOD WOOD WHICH IS NOW BEEN USED.
THE WOOD WAS TREATED WITH KEROSENE, GASOLINE, CABORLINE AND FUEL. 
WOOD ENFORCEMENT - THE WOODS ARE BRACE AT 90 AND 45 DEGREE WITH 7" AND 6" LONG STEEL BOLDS AND NUTS (SEE PHOTOS). 

A donation amount of €1,140.00 was requested for the following needs:

• Classroom Building 1 - PLUMBING LINE AND FIXTURE €250.00
• Classroom Building 1 - GENERAL WORKS €890.00
