Health Camp in Nuwakot in the hard-hit village Thansing
Many people have lost loved ones and suffer great anxiety.
A tarp and a large tree serve as protection from the scorching sun during treatments.
People came from the surrounding villages also from very far away.
The doctors in our team gave important drugs, and water filters to prevent from hookworm infestations. They dressed up wounds and advised the patients.
Unfortunately, the medicine was by far not sufficient for all those in need.
For most, the acupuncture was a whole new treatment experience and they asked many questions. Patiently our team explained what is going on in Acupuncture. At the end all wanted our team comes back to the village soon.
It was not possible to control the crowd and the time was also not enough.
The energy level of the practitioners fell rapidly, so they found some rest in between under a shady tree.
In one day, more than 500 patients have been treated and most of them asked for more acupuncture treatments.
Although the earth quakes continue, our team works continue with joy and enthusiasm. They always encourage mutually.
Great to have such a team on site!
