A new year has started - and we want to wish you all an exciting and healthy 2019. Since two and half years we have been able to offer solidarity, education and community for people on Lesvos. Without you, this would never have been possible. Thank you for your generous support.

Last week we started another round of registration for new students. Unfortunately we are not able to offer a place in our classes to all of them, since the demand is much higher than our capacities.

Winter has hit the island and conditions in Moria are terrible. Temperatures fall below zero during the night and the camp suffers from electricity cuts, while hundreds of people are struggling with the cold in flimsy tents with no heating at all. 
Let us all hope and put our efforts for this unbearable situation to change this year! We will continue to stand together and dedicate our energy to fight for dignity and equality.
