Dear supporters,
the donations received will now go towards the contstruction of Penguins Learn & Play Center in Walmer Township, Port Elizabeth (South Africa). Since the amount we fundraised thus far is not yet enough for the full construction we will continue with our fundraising efforts. In the second half of 2016 we were able to contribute EcoBrick-technology to a construction site in Cape Town, which was fully funded by the municipality. There we were able to make handson experiences which will help us in the further process for the Penguins-project. In December 2016 we have received the final municipal approval for the construction in Port Elizabeth and are now setting up a board which will oversee the further construction process. This is standard procedure for new buildings in Townships. The board will consist of architects, residents, local politicians and a representative of the EcoBrick Exchange. We will make sure to keep everyone posted on the further process.
