We are slowly but surely creating a permanent open-air theatre for our productions. Long gone is the Greek theatre Olwethu built in the dam on the Kampterrein. Other acting spaces have become play areas for the juniors, or too close to the neighbours to really explore volume and passion.

The back wall of our open_air theatre will be in the form of a parabola to help with accoustics and we will have a permanent seating structure for the audience so we don't have to carry chairs in and out all the time.

There have always been one or two students we can rely on to help with maintaining discipline and respect in our school. This year we have decided to give official recognition and responsibility to a Head Girl and Head Boy and have already reaped the benefits of their dedication. Felipe Nsodi and Nokutula Kraemer are taking on their duties with dignity and enthusiasm.

The third member of our student committee is elected by the students themselves. This year the student representative is Barry Telford.

We wish the 3 students a productive and inspiring year.

We are proud to announce that, for the third year in a row, our matrics have achieved 100% pass rate, 5 of the 8 students achieving a University Entrance pass.

Gerald Ramoabi obtained distinctions in Dramatic Arts and Life Orientation and Halo Malherbe obtained a distinction in Dramatic Arts.

Congratulations to the matrics of 2011 and may 2012 see similar results.
