This is how Zanzibar people welcome their guest. And so do the women of the cooperative “Riziki” great their supporters in Germany and the Netherlands. Besides new advocates further donators have turned up to support the women. Financing the power line to the electric grid and refurbishment of the toilets have come into reach. A few days ago we talked with Birgit Mitawi on the phone, who has visited the women in Pwani Mchangani and told them about the donations. The women are full of excitement and say “Thank you.” From their own contributions (10% of the full amount) they bought a first set of tools and started opening the walls for wiring.
