We're over the hump - also thanks to solidarity events

As of today, we have reached 50 percent of the total sum needed to provide Refugees Emancipation with reliable and secured funding for their work for at least one year. Whoopee!  \o/

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all those who have already donated or spread the word, allowing us to reach more people. We would like to emphasize how important every single donation is in terms of access to education and communication for refugees.

And of course, to make it all the way we still need your support, for instance with a solidarity event: Whether you are planning a charity run, a solidarity rally or party, a Christmas party with a collecting jar, or a cake sale - we're looking forward to your latest ideas!

Solidarity Party in Neukölln: "Fleeing is not a crime"
On 10 October, a solidarity bar party was held at the Astra Stube Neukölln: Football memorabilia like advertising posters from bus stops, a Hansa football shirt of unknown origin, and a home-made pennant for the St. Pauli team, were auctioned here. The highlight of the evening was a private living-room concert with Thees Uhlmann, singer of the band Tomte. http://astrastube.com/
