Have a computer to spare? Donate it!

Many people have donated here on betterplace or put a lot of time and expertise into supporting Refugees Emancipation, which is really impressive. We have now been approached several times by people asking whether they can also support us with notebooks, cameras, and other hardware donations. Yes, please!

We have created a concrete list of hardware that we need for the Internet Cafés on our website. For instance, we are looking for laptops, computer peripherals, headsets, as well as audio equipment. You can find the whole list here:

At the moment, we unfortunately do not have the capacity to repair broken devices. That is why we are looking for intact, working devices that can be put to use immediately.

You can simply deliver your donations during the Freifunk meeting next Wednesday at the c-base in Berlin or at the Refugees Emancipation office in Potsdam. More places to come; please check the hardware donation page regularly for updates.
