Support for children in 2018

Even though there were no new contributions so far this year, our school counsellor Hilder continued to work with the children at the primary school. She also visits the children in the orphanage and pays special attention to them. For some classes, she offers project weeks on topics such as friendship (with prevention parts on sexual assaults) and talking and learning together (with prevention parts on bullying).

Also the school management and the school authority, the diocese of Iringa, see the importance of Hilder's work as a school counsellor. When a secondary school was opened, a new school counsellor was hired for this school as well.
