Let's give more than we take

 
I want to be more than just an athlete. I want to create a positive impact for this world!
I’ve had an amazing year, with a lot of support from partners, sponsors, family and friends. Now I want to give something back from what I've received!

From my birthday Oct. 17th until next Friday Oct. 24th, I’ll be collecting donations via betterplace.org.
100% of the money will be going to these 6 causes: 

The world has appeared to be falling apart in many ways. Humanitarian crisis, wars, ecological destruction, climate change and unsettling political developments. I want to channel our collective resources and create a counterweight to these trends!

My own contribution will be to donate all financial gifts (that my family gives me) for my birthday, my own hair – 100% of it, if we surpass the goal of 5.000€ by Oct. 24th (+10% of my own money) – and giving you – the community – all 12 giveaway items (worth over 1.500€), which I have either won, purchased myself or been gifted by my sponsors & partners this year.
