Occasion

Paulo Consequencia Antonio (19) and Junior Lamidi (17) are currently threatened by expulsion. Both of them are members of the lis:sanga dance company. With our stage show we would like to draw attention to their present situation and to impinge upon this decision of expulsion.

Lis:sanga
The lis:sanga dance company was founded in January 2007 following the Dance-Theater-Video-Project „KRIEG“. Managed by Lenah Strohmaier all the dancers want to realize permanent teamwork. Lis:sanga (short for „community“) forms a Lis:sanga (short for „community“) forms a platform, that regularly offers its members dance training, social get togethers and continuously performs on stage.

The lis:sanga dance company is made up of pupils of various backgrounds from Berlin & Potsdam and young asylum seekers from all over the world. Aside from own productions lis:sanga cooperates with other institutions and groups, to foster inter- youth exchange.

Aside from social, artistic and technical enhancement of the dancers we focus on teamwork. We work process-orientated, where personal involvement with topics to be danced is required and include this into ongoing production work.
Lis:sanga dance company is under the patronage of Marietta Slomka (Heute Journal) and Royston Maldoom ("Rythm is it").

    guten tag, ich möchte versuchen ein tanzprojekt auf die beine zu stellen und zwar mit hauptschülern. ich bin allerdings noch ganz am anfang und habe wenig erfahrungen mit tanzprojekten. welche schritte muss/ sollte ich am besten beachten? fange ich erst mit einem thema an, suche dann musik und bewegungen? gruß theresa

      hallo frau diel... was halten sie denn davon,unsere vorstellung morgen abend um 19.oo uhr im haus der kulturen der welt und die zeit danach zu nutzen,um sich einen eindruck unserer arbeit und unserer gruppe zu verschaffen und persönlich über ihr vorhaben zu sprechen?möglicherweise können sie dabei einige inspirationen finden...ich würde mich freuen...mit freundlichem gruß, sandra
