Thanks to betterplace and all supporters I was able to pay the school fees for all four children this school season again.

I am a single mother of two but take care of four kids: My teenage son Wally, my little daughter Ava-Joy, my nephew Titende Amslem Mbanghonyui and my niece Mbubeh Marie-Benedict. Amslem, the youngest son of my late elder sister who died of AIDS in 2007, and her granddaughter Marie-Benedict, who lived for all her life with her grandmother, are both orphans.

Wally, being almost 16, is attending secondary school in Yaoundé. Ava-Joy likes learning at pre-school in our home town Bamenda. Marie-Benedict and Amslem live with a relative in another suburb of Bamenda close to their school. For both life changed a lot, being orphans without hope and no proper education they both can go to school and prove that your support is worthwhile.

Reason why this application on betterplace to help all four children to continue with their education and have hope for the future.

Dear Supporters of Better Place, it has always been a wonderfull pleasure sharing with you. You have beeen very supportive to me and the kids I am sponsoring. It is a moment to say thank you. As they embark on the last line that takes them to the end of the school year 2008/2009, I just want you to know about how they are doing and what is coming up. Marie - Benedict is very serious preparing to write the Common Intrance exams that will usher her into a secondary school as well as write the first official exams of her life, ie, the First School Leaving Certificate. Conscious of the fact that you are all there giving her the necessary support, she is bent on making you all happy by succeeding in her 2 exams; Amslem, Ava-Joy and Wally are prepraing for promotion exams into the next class. The good thing about all of them is that everyone is so committed and promising to move to the next class without hitch. Well, they are encouraged and we are only waiting for the end of the period to confirm their promises. Your numerous efforts are very much boosting and keeping them awake so as to meet your expectations. May God continue to bless and provide to you all so that you can in return support them.
