Although meanwhile there is sufficient rain the poorer people from Kenya don't have enough to eat. One reason is because the last harvest was not good enough. The second reason is because prices for staple food are much too high due to bad management.

But we are very happy that the vegetables garden on the school-ground of Bwagamoyo Nursery School in Pengo seems to have a produce harvest.

What to grow in which amount and to what time to get enough vegetables to ensure school-lunch the whole year we will see in the future. We have to rely on the agricultural experiences of the people from Pengo.
And shortly we will know how much money we need to bring “fillers” like Ugali, millet, Kassawa or manioc on the plates.

As soon as the corresponding calculation will be done we will look for godparents for the school-lunch in Pengo.

To start school-lunch right when we have the needed money we decided to start collecting money for building the school-kitchen and buying the necessary equipment (stove, pots, spoon, plates, mugs, etc.) right now.

We described all the single needs for the school-kitchen including furniture and equipment below.

We would be very happy if this project will also find a lot of advocates and supporters. In contrast to our other projects we will not be able to report about any progress because we really need to have a certain part of the needed money to start building the school kitchen.
