We are friends of the women's peace project SEKA in Gorazde / East Bosnia. We support the projects of SEKA here at betterplace, as we appreciate the SEKA work: peace work which emphasizes the psychological aspect of peace process.
Real and enduring peace can grow only from the bottom. The severe psychological wounds (traumas) which each war causes usually are transmitted from generation to generation. They are the evil base for mistrust, hate, for new conflicts, new violence and wars.
SEKA has the mission, to offer to the people in Bosnia (especially to children and women), who suffer from all this, a secure space where they can overcome there traumas supported by experienced therapists. We appreciate this mission and are eager to support it.
And we invite people with similar ambition to join our team!
