Bringing Smiles to children with disabilities!

This fundraising platform aims to improve the environment and educational quality in the school Lugj Gurakugi for children and youth with disabilities, that is located in Tirana, Albania. This school lacks financial means to improve their offers to the children attending classes there. Children are aged 6-18 years old and feature different type of disabilities. We are raising funds to buy further educational and sporting materials to stimulate the development of the children. Moreover we plan to organise various activities (travelling photo exhibition, special events) for promoting social inclusion and voluntary engagement for children with special needs.

The German organisation European Intercultural Forum e. V. supports fundraising actions and provides capacity to improve the situation in the school Lugj Gurakugi.

The local Albanian organisation Beyond Barriers works in direct partnership with the school by providing them with local and Europan volunteers to support the children's development, as well as fundraising to organise special events.
