Our students are orphans or single orphans who completed with good to very good exam results their secondary school education in the Soweto slum in the outskirts of Nairobi. Over and over again they suffer from malaria, typhoid diarrhoea and other illnesses like mycosis (ringworm), worm infestation and headache.
Depending on the gravity of the disease they often are laid up 2 to 3 weeks and forced to interrupt their studies. Of course they could see a doctor, Kenyatta Hospital or even go to buy a medicine at the chemist's, but this demands money - and this is the problem: they don't have it.
For this reason we would like to instal a medical depot in order that in case of illness they have the appropriate medicine available. For such a depot we need 50 Euro.
Peter Rohrbach kindly supported us some months ago. Meanwhile, our reserves are used up.We kindly ask you to support our project
