Education Concern Center Nepal is working and supporting to rural and remote schools in different parts of the country Nepal. Particularly, ECC is working in the area of teacher training, providing teaching materials, small construction, awareness program and day meal. Now we realized that the rural children have never seen and observed the computers even they have to face competition with those students who are familiar with computers in urban area. ECC decided to provide computer from outside if the local community and school staffs manage electricity and rooms.
Now three schools have showed their commitment and prepared the lab room and we are trying to find computers to provide them.

Thank you for your response Min. A few more questions:

    1. Will the computers be purchased in Nepal?
    2. Are you planning to purchase desktops or laptops?
    3. How will the computers be transported to this region or is there somewhere they can be purchased locally?
    4. If you must transport them to the schools - have you worked the transportation costs into the total amount of your fundraising goal?

    Dear Jennifer
School I have planned is close to motor road and easy for transportation. My planned to purchase desk top computers in kathmandu, Nepal and then can transport up to school. I have not calculated the transportation cost and ECC, our organization will manage transportation cost at local level. or request with any transport agencies. Thanks
