I am an Austin College student that volunteered at Child Hope during the summer of 2011. The experience was simply amazing. Although I was only there for three weeks, I really felt like a part of CHO. I taught English, ran workshops, edited documents, and hosted events for the students. The staff and teachers really care about the students. They do everything in their power to make sure the students have the best possible experience. The students range from being orphans to living in poverty. Despite this, you couldn't tell from how these students act. Whether I was teaching them or playing with them, they were so adorable. Despite this positive atmosphere, CHO struggles everyday provide for these students. Any and all funds go directly to supporting the children. I have personally seen what CHO has had to go through and what they do is life changing.
This is a wonderful organization with 100% transparency. Everything goes directly to the children. I have visited CHO many times and this organization is truly working to make the lives of these children a better place...
