To be able to host and support more groups, also become a beacon of alternative culture in Heliopolis (where there isn't much co-working space or cultural centers).

Aus welchem Anlass warst Du vor Ort und wann?

Während einer Reise durch Ägypten habe ich das Projekt in Kairo besucht und mich mit Ulrike, der Projektmacherin getroffen.

Dein positiver Bericht aus Cairo:

Ich finde den Ansatz, für Sozialunternehmer einen gemeinsamen Ort zu schaffen, von dem aus sie arbeiten und sich gegenseitig unterstützen können, wichtig. Gerade in der aktuellen poltischen Umbruchsituation. Zudem fand ich Ulrike in ihrem Engagement überzeugend.

Hosts are very friendly, place very clean, prices very reasonable. The owner, Ulirike (Uli) is very dedicated to this project. The place has a "green policy" paper goes in a separate bin, glass in a separate basket etc. Area is very quite, very easy to find if you have no idea where Rasheed street is. Seating is VERY comfortable, I'm talking BEAN bags, not chairs :) nearly dozed off once. It's a long list of good things, will be for sure going there often :)!
