Specially, women are using public transport from 4 AM to 10 PM for their selling vegetables, working in office or other purposes. None of the of the vehicle has allocated seats for women. Women are being abused verbally, physically, socially, psychologically because they are with either their heavy bags or babies. Thus, this project will focus for public vehicles in Baneshor, Kathmandu where drivers, conductors and men passengers will aware about the roles of men, gender and rights of women. Finally, women are empowered by feeling social security. The project also will work with traffic police, government authorities and media institutions to maximize the impact.
