Hallo,
leider konnte ich mir das Projekt nicht anschauen, finde die Idee aber ganz wunderbar! Ich wollte gern Kontakt zu euch aufnehmen oder euch besuchen, wenn das möglich ist!
Mein Projekt befindet sich in San Marcos und mir ist gerade ein Gedanke der möglichen Kooperation gekommen. Vielleicht könnte ich mit ein paar SchülerInnen für ein paar wenige Tage zu euch kommen, etwas "mitnehmen" (Zirkuskünste etc.) und dann hier verbreiten. Ich fände es super spannend und sehr schön. Habe das Projekt im Dezember 2009 besucht und habe dort einige Wochen verbracht. Obwohl vieles leider aus finanziellen Gründen nicht ganz so schnell läuft, so war ich doch von den Jugendlichen und von Diego beeindruckt wie sie mit ihren Möglichkeiten zielsicher Fortschritte erreichen.
Die sympathische Gastfreundschaft hat mich beeindruckt und ich hoffe bald wieder mal vor Ort sein zu können.

I arrived in the project beginning of september. This project is really great because as a volunteer, I am really free in what I can do. I have had the chance to make two websites (elberrincheambiental.blogspot.com y highupintheskyparty.blogspot.com) to organise a house party and for the moment we are preparing the great festival : el berrinche ambiental which will happen in january 2010.
Come to the project and you will really feel useful and free.

Children are not motivated to read in their schools. For our program: "The Pleasure of Reading" we need nice and interesting story books and others for children aged 8 to 12 years. Only in "SPANISH" please!!

School van repair

Having the school van back on the road is most important for school children transport, core group shows in Nicaragua and Central America, visiting groups and volunteers transport. Need to repair the engine!!!

Educational program

We pretend the core group become top trainers and managers of the School of project. Not to join the immigration list as many Nicaraguans as forced too. 6 of them will start university in 2009 and 3 technical education...

Nutritional program

Our core group and children all come from big families who have to survive daily with 1 or 2 euros. A full lunch and evening snack is most important for their health and good training!!!

6 Theatre, Circus, Art and Complementary Education

Needed volunteers with knowledge in theatre, mime, clowning, puppets, dance, paint, story-telling, hand-craft, reading, languages, maths for teaching children aged 8 to 12. Reasonable Spanish speaking is important!!

School House

School house is finished in an 80%. It'll be the home of the core-group and rehearsal space for improving their productions. Also will allow to have 40 infants and start the Children Comedy and Mime School in 2009.
