Destri Banjar Najor is a self-confident young Indonesian woman. She lives on the Indonesian island Batam with her husband and her 4-year-old disabled son Canglar. But no matter how hard she tries her biggest problem remains to create a safe home for her small family.

The house the family is currently living in is assembled of wooden planks. The poor condition of the house makes it very dangerous for everybody to live in it but especially for little Canglar. The roof is leaking in many places which means that the family is not protected against the rain.
