CADR'A F.I.L.M.S. - Independent TV Training Center

Just the perfect place to a launch such a great project ! I was there yesterday. Bonendalé is the kind of place where all kind of great ideas can surge for films and videos.

A TV/film training Center is a real need in Cameroon ...for two reasons.
The last movie theatre closed this year, I think that boosting the offer of images could help authorities to react.
Moreover, the offer of Cameroonese TV program is still a little weak and need to be fueled.

I come from Bonendalé, the village close to Douala in Cameroon where Vincent Ndoumbe and his team were shooting the television series “Retrouvailles Bar Chez Nous“ for a number of months until September 2008. Our whole village had the privilege to follow their work due to the fact that the team worked most of the time in open air. We all admired the enthusiasm of the team and their dedication. We would count ourselves lucky if CAD’RA F.I.L.M.S. would be reality one day. - - - - - - - - - Ich stamme aus Bonendalé, dem Dorf in der Nähe von Douala (Kamerun), in dem in den vergangenen Monaten bis September 2008 das Team um Vincent Ndoumbe die TV-Serie „Retrouvailles Bar Chez Nous“ gedreht hat. Das ganze Dorf hat die Arbeiten mit großem Interesse verfolgt, denn die Dreharbeiten fanden unter freiem Himmel statt. Wir haben den Enthusiasmus und den Einsatz des gesamten Teams bewundert. Wir würden uns glücklich schätzen, wenn CADR’A F.IL.M.S. eines Tages in unserem Dorf Wirklichkeit würde. (Übersetzung aus dem Französischen: hazet)

Bonjour, verehrte Freunde von betterplace, ich heiße Joseph DANJIE, bin heute Direktor (Foto) beim kamerunischen Fernsehen CRTV, aber vor vielen Jahren – zwischen 1988 und 1998 - habe ich als Kameramann begonnen. Gemeinsam mit Vincent NDOUMBE haben wir viel auf kulturellem Gebiet gearbeitet und noch heute frage ich mich, ob ich jemals einen anderen Regisseur getroffen habe, der gleichzeitig so enthusiastisch und kreativ ist. Im Kontakt mit ihm, während ACCORD MAJUSCULE produziert wurde, habe ich sehr viel von ihm lernen können, so dass ich heute selbst ein kulturelles Projekt gestalte - AfriCaura – ein Projekt, für das ich noch immer seine Nähe, Vertrautheit und seine Unterstützung habe. Dafür haben wir den PRIX ENTREPRENARIAT HARUBUNTU gewonnen. Am 20. Oktober 2008 werden wir gemeinsam mit Vincent NDOUMBE in Brüssel sein, um diesen Preis entgegenzunehmen, der uns helfen wird, in der Suche der afrikanischen Exzellenz noch viel weiter gehen zu können. Die Auffassung und ein Verständnis von Kreativität mit Herrn Vincent NDOUMBE teilen zu können, ist keineswegs eine Alltäglichkeit, vor allem für die jungen Afrikaner, die sich von Pessimismus und dem sie umgebenden Leid befreien wollen… Mit ihm Jahrzehnte einen Weg gegangen zu sein, wie ich die Möglichkeit und das Privileg dazu hatte, hinterlässt sehr positive Folgen… Ich lade Sie einfach dazu ein, ihn zu unterstützen, ihn weiterhin zu ermutigen… so, wie er es verdient. Avec Vincent NDOUMBE nous avons beaucoup travaillé dans le domaine de la culture et aujourd'hui encore, je me demande si j'ai déjà rencontré un autre réalisateur aussi enthousiaste et créatif à la fois. A son contact durant toute la période ACCORD MAJUSCULE, j'ai tellement reçu et appris de lui, qu'aujourd'hui je dirige moi-même un projet culturel qui s'appelle AfricAuara, pour lequel toujours avec sa complicité et son soutien, nous venons de gagner le PRIX ENTREPRENARIAT HARUBUNTU. Le 20 octobre prochain avec Vincent NDOUMBE nous serons à Bruxelles pour reçevoir ce prix qui nous aidera à aller plus loin dans la quête de l'Excellence Africaine. PARTAGER l'intelligence et les soucis de la créativité avec Monsieur VIncent NDOUMBE n'est pas une chose banale du tout, pour les jeunes africains qui veulent se débarasser du péssimisme et misérabilisme ambiant... Le fréquenter pendant des décennies comme j'ai pu avoir ce privilège, laisse des séquelles très positives... je vous invite tout simplement à le soutenir et à l'encourager... comme il le mérite! This is a TV director with lots of experience to share. His landmark programme "ACCORD MAJUSCULE" brought light on local state owned TV and showed that it was possible to produce competitive quality shows within the country with the available equipment (end of the 80's).
A couple of youths have learned from him over the years. Now that he is a mature professional and deliberately wants to train more youths for better productions ahead, I strongly recommend the project.
