Education – a basis for the future

Redevelopment, new building and furnishing of an elementary school with 900 pupils. The building is in an ailing condition. 900 pupils have access to computers, but 60 of them have to share one book. The school library is empty.
The lavatories do not have flush and so the last person using the toilet has to carry a bucket with water. The roofs are rusted through and when it is raining, water is dropping through the leaky roofs.
In Daram lots of the pupils are even unable to afford this “broken school”.
We want to help – to renovate – to lay water-connections – to fit a school kitchen – to utilize solar power and biogas….
….with the help of domestic craftsmen by paying them adequate wages, motivating the pupils to be proactive, to open a chance to the most vulnerable….
