Periódico ÍNTAG - now ÍNTAG al Atardecer

Periódico ÍNTAG was the main project of Fundación Casa Palabra y Pueblo. It existed as a tool for social and organizational development, offering communities, parishes, and organizations access to a communication medium on the local, regional, national, and international (through the web page) level, thus assuring that residents´ voices were heard. The newspaper contributed to maintaining a conversation and encouraged collaboration with county authorities, local organizations, and residents of the region in general. In the newspaper, contributors could present projects and plans, share principles and values, and create a democratic dialogue. To expand on the aims of Periódico ÍNTAG, Fundación Casa Palabra y Pueblo has to decided to change our medium and incorporate the goals and objectives of our former newspaper into a new radio venture, ÍNTAG al Atardecer. This radio program will allow us to do our work more quickly and with greater frequency, while reaching more people. It is our hope that in this way we can further promote information, communication and culture in Intag. In line with our various other educational efforts with children, we also hope in future to involve them in this radio project.
