I went to a women prison and I saw children who stay with their mothers there. as a children's officer in Nakuru, i feel this project will help alleviate the suffering of this special but needy type of children, this case is deserving!

We found a class room, where we can hold trainings and workshops for the street children, but there are no furnitures. We need 5 tables and 20 chairs to start.

As part of the rehabilitation program and IG the street children in our program are going to sell a magazine. We need money for first production (1000 copies). Later editions will be funded by selling advertisement to local business people.

Re-unification of children with mothers in prison

Visiting people in prison, we realized that the officials are not able to let children visit their mothers in prison. We are going to organize the transport of 10 children from their temporary homes to the prison and back.

Immediate medical need for street children

We can make sure that street children who are sick are treated for free in the hospital, but no one is paying for the medicine they might need for later treatment. Therefore often they stop their treatment and become sick again.
