Immigrant Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to deserving immigrant students who are seeking higher education. It was established in the summer of 2009 by a group of professionals who immigrated to the United States number of years ago and received their college education in the US. Right now we have three people volunteering their time for this project, but we hope to grow as the time goes on. All of the donated money (minus the administrative costs) goes towards the scholarships to immigrant students who are looking for additional resources to pay for their education. In order to be eligible for a scholarship students must meet academic criteria and write two essays. Scholarship award ranges from $250 to $1000, but the number of students awarded depends on the amount of money raised. We look forward to hearing from you!
