Since 2009 we support the Kwale Hospital to finance the glucostics. Also in 2013 there is an average monthly need of 200 glucostics.
In February 2013 they asked us, if it is possible to support also the dispensary in Mwaluphamba with 50 glucostics per month. - Yes, we can.
The glucostics for Kwale Hospital for 2013 was fully funded on February 18th 2013. Now we ask to support the dispensary in Mwaluphamba.
It would be nice if we find some more foster parents for this project.

We've learned that it is cheaper to buy a glucometer in Kenya and buy the supply of glucostics in Kenya. Together with the doctors we calculated a monthly need of 200 glucostics.
Diabetes is a disease which occurs more often due to the unbalanced and corbohydrate-containing diet. The glucostics are used for diagnostcs during the checkups.
