Since 2009 we support the Kwale Hospital to finance the glucostics. Also in 2012 there is an average monthly need of 200 clucostics.

We are happy about each donation via betterplace or payback. Meanwhile we have two sponsor who are financing 50% of the monthly need. But it would be nice to have more sponsors who ensure with a certain monthly amount the financing of this continous need.

We've learned that it is cheaper to buy a glucometer in Kenya and buy the supply of glucostics in Kenya. Together with the doctors we calculated a monthly need of 200 glucostics.

Diabetes is a disease which occurs more often due to the unbalanced and corbohydrate-containing diet. The glucostics are used for diagnostcs during the checkups.
