Andrzej and Agnieszka Dyminski live in a 70-year old wooden house which is about to collapse. Andrzej is disabled and uses a wheelchair since he is 5 years old. After 6 years of marriage the couple is finally expecting a baby. They have been planning to build a new house for the last few years: have got the land, building permission and collected lots of building materials and some savings. However, they still don’t have enough money to start the construction. Andrzej and his wife work in a garage (former cowshed) assembling electronic elements for other companies. His remuneration is their only income. Agnieszka used to work in a local social service office but left her job when she got pregnant. During winter the couple moves to their family house nearby sharing the apartment with their parents and his brother’s family of six. In the summer they go back to their old wooden house despite its dilapidation.

The family is far-sighted, well organized and active. They love each other very much and would like to raise their child-to-be-born in a safe healthy home.

The house is located in a small village, 40 km from Warsaw.
