Das medikamentöse Lyell-Syndrom ist wohl die schwerste Arzneimittelkomplikation. In einem Drittel der Fälle endet es tödlich. Wegen seines Aussehens wird es auch als "Syndrom der verbrühten Haut" bezeichnet. Am gesamten Körper löst sich die Haut in großflächigen Fetzen ab.Durch das Kawasaki Syndrom hat Juliette einen Herzanfall erlitten, die Nieren, das Herz, die Lungen und der Blutdruck werden mit Maschinen und medikamentoes unterstuetzt. Seit der Einlieferung schwebt Juliette in Lebensgefahr. Juliettes Mutter steht unter Schock. Sie ist allein erziehend und muss mit ihren Aengsten und Sorgen alleine fertig werden.
a single mum who is raising her two daughters on her own is absolutely stressed, shocked and lost. Juliette has been in Hospital since 5.10 dignosed with Kawasaki Syndrom. A disease with high fever that does not respond o antibiotics, rash, swolen lymph odes and red eyes, lips, troat and tongue, followed by a peeling of the skin. Frequent complications are cornary artery aneurysms, other organs become affected, about 1-2 percent of the patients die of the disease and its complications. But not only does Juliette suffer from this horrible disease but she has got the Lyell Syndrom as well! An acute severe bullous cutaneous disease characterized by extensive areas of skin necrosis accompanied by a systemic toxic condition. Because of the extensive area of eroded skin, large amounts of body fluid are lost with consequent distrubances of the electrolyte and fluid balance.

Hello i would like to donate some money to the family,how do i go about the tranfer??? The story has touched my heart,my daughter goes to the jane melvin dance school,it was there jane told me about this young girl juliette its so sad i hope she will get better.
I also own a bar here in Marbella and would like to put a box on the bar for donations from people,is it possible you could arrange the box with the story of juliett on it? .

Liebe Bettina, mein Name ist Josean Zingale-Watson und habe auch zwei Kinder die die Deutsche Schule in Málaga besuchen. Ich habe das Link an dieser Webseite von einer anderen Mutter erhalten und sofort an so viele Kontakte wie möglich weitergeleitet. Nun haben mich viele hilfsbereite Freunde und Kontakte gefragt ob es die Möglichkeit gäbe Spenden an einem Konto zu Überweisen anstatt mit Kreditkarte zu bezahlen. Weiterhim möchte eine Freundin die Verbindung zu dem Rotary Club hat, die Organisation nach Unterstützung für dieses Projekt bitten, denn dieses Club engagiert sich gelegentlich bei solche Wohltätigkeitsaktionen. Liebe Bettina Lopez, ich habe Juliette die letzten zwei Jahre in Sport unterrichtet,doch kenne ihre Mutter nicht persönlich. Meine Frau Mayte leitet ein kleines, privates Gästehaus in Malaga, in dem wir Juliettes Mutter kostenlos ein Zimmer anbieten könnten. Allerdings ist der Monat Oktober meineserachtens ausgebucht.

Dear Mrs. Teufleberger,
thank you very much for your support! I think it was a very brave step to visit Juliette in person, to talk to her and to play back your daughters message - what a wonderful idea!
Now to your question. The 500,-€ was the initial donation amount that will cover the first families expenses in this difficult time that not only Juliette but her family as well has to experience and deal with. Juliettes hospital costs are being covered by her inssurance. Juliettes mum is a single mum who, at the moment, is clearly not able to care about Juliette and to work at the same time. The older daughter who is 16 is staying in the apartment in Elviria, close to her school while the mother is currently staying at a hotel in Málaga to be close to Juliette all the time! In order to help Juliette and her family, monthly rental fees and expennses add up to 2600,-€ for November. This will be our new need! The money being raised and how much is still needed is always shown under the headline of each need.
