I am a Swiss citizen, who lives and works in Marrakech. The desperate situation of working equides on the streets of Marrakech was a shock to me, and I have began to research ways I could help. This is how I found Helga Heidrich, a wonderful and courageous German woman, who has been saving animals for 20 years, especially since she is based in Marrakech- there is so much to do. Helga's Foundation SOS ANIMAUX has been extremely active in rescuing cases such as Smoky. Her refuge welcomes handicap donkeys, mules and horses, who can no longer pull heavily loaded carts, and would otherwise be dead. I personally vouch for this, and many other Helga Foundation's projects. Ich habe das mit bekommen mit dem armen Kerlchen war im Verteiler wir müssen ihn dort freikaufen und ihn behandeln alssen und dann von dort weg bringen wo er ein tolles Leben bekommt.Der arme kerl
