BOREHOLE WATER PROJECT COMPLETE AT LAST!

HURRAY! HURRAY!!!!!!!!! at last the water is in the Cecil Kids school compound and everyone is extremely excited referring it as Easter Gift. My special thanks to Leo, Joana, Riks and entire team from 1%club and www.betterplace.org who recommended this wonderful project which will generate income for the children.

On behalf of  the children, teachers and community wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all who made this project a success.  Cathrine, Andrea, Curtis and Chris who came on holiday to Mombasa had a desire to see the project, lucky enough they witnessed this great miracle of such clean water from the borehole, they congratulated each and everyone who donated towards this wonderful project.

I triggered a (partial)payout for these needs:

We are incredibly grateful for all the new donations. The latest donations will be used to pay teacher salaries and to buy exercise books, story books and materials for creativity lessons. These new books and materials are very important for the school because they greatly improve the quality of the education that we can provide, and our kids deserve good education. The teacher salaries are also very valuable because our teachers deserve to be rewarded for the hard work they do for the school and it is good for their motivation. All in all, the school is greatly improving because of all the donations we receive on Betterplace.

RE; BOREHOLE DRILLING IN PROGRESS

I just want to appreciate Leo, Joana, and others who recommended the project. which attracted donors in a short period, i also want to take this opportunity to appreciate  Rik who really did market for the funds.

Now the drilling is in progress and i hope it would be ready in two week"s time.

I would have started immediately i received the donation, but i did not want to risk as it was during the campaining period for the election but i thank God elections were peaceful.

I will still keep on updating the donors on the progress of the borehole drilling

Communiry were excited to see machine drilling water as most of the locals  use manual

to dig the water borehole, plse have a look at the photographs of the machine at cecilkids wall and you will notice the way is surrounded by the people from the community.  one woman could not hide the joy, she said that "am happy that very soon we will get water nearby. instead of fetching water at a long distance and in most caces the taps are dry without a drop of water.

Personally am very very happy and i dont have words to appreciate the donors

is only God who will reward all of them.
