Münchner Waisenhaus

The orphanage offers children and youths a short-term or a long-term place to stay, day and night or at day time only. It serves as second home to children who are in desperate situations, who are neglected or whose behaviour indicates they have to deal with trouble, who have problems following at school – to children who need help. Set in a beautiful and ample park in the neighbourhood of Neuhausen-Nymphenburg, in the orphanage they find peace and safety within in community of the other children and youths. Especially trained pedagogues accompany them caringly and assist them in finding their daily routine, in taking on responsibility, respecting limits, and making most of their free time with self-awareness and creativity. Parents are supported in times of crisis and, if possible, enabled to eventually raise their children themselves again.
