SAND Journal

SAND is an English literary journal printed bi-annually in Berlin, featuring art, photography, prose and poetry and translations into English, though many texts include original language versions. SAND was founded in May 2009 and is printed bi-annually. Berlin is a city of artists and writers, many of whom communicate in the English language. Our goal is to present a collection of the city's best literature, as well as to capture the international vibe of Berlin by publishing original language versions alongside their English translations.
