The registered Austrian nonprofit aid organization "Verein für Quellen und Hilfsprojekte - Verein zur Förderung von Brunnen und Hilfsprojekten in aller Welt" was started in 2005 and officially founded in late 2008. It is responsible for the implementation of 100 wells so far (by Dec 2011) and collects funds on the web, in public talks, in newspaper articles as well as in one TV-show. The aid organization was set up to build wells for the needy in Brazil, in particular in the state of Buritirama, BA. It has also built wells around Caiaponia, Goias, Brazil, where the official permission to build wells unfortunately has ended in 2009. The organization's method to build wells provides for low-cost wells that come at a price tag of only between € 200,- and € 400,- a piece, depending on a well's depth. The organization also has it's own cheap but very effective pump (selfmade), that also only costs as little as € 40,- a piece. That and a cheap drilling technique had made for the success so far. Our solutions are designed to inspire representatives in other places on the globe as well. And we already have received offers to work in other places of the world. Fink's passion has to be described as contagious.
