The PSCAA has been a registered NGO with the Ministry of Interior of the Palestinian Authority since March 2010. The aim of the PSCAA is to strengthen the film and cinema culture in Palestine, both through film exhibition and through the support and training of young filmmakers. The organisation has no political ties or motivations.
The PSCAA has been running the Palestinian Mobile Cinema for three years with great success. The PMC team is comprised of full and part time staff members who are all well trained on the project’s activities, including the use and care of screening equipment. Team members are dedicated to film selection, promotion, and coordination with local communities.
