Löwe für Löwe e.V. engagiert sich seit 1998 in Sierra Leone in den Bereichen Bildung, Gesundheit, Bekämpfung der Armut und Wiederaufbau von Infrastruktur. Unsere Projekte: Eine Grundschule und ein kleines Kinderheim in Devil Hole bei Freetown, Kleinkredit-Programm für Frauen, Ausbildungsprojekt für Automechaniker, Bäckerei, Vermittlung von Patenschaften, Unterstützung einer Frauenkooperative in Brigitte Village, Kooperationen mit zwei Krankenhäusern in Freetown und Waterloo. Anfang April 2010 wurde eine Krankenstation in Brigitte Village an der Freetown Peninsular Road eröffnet, die für mehrere tausend Menschen eine Erste-Hilfe-Versorgung ermöglicht. Im Jahr 2012 wollen wir dort eine Grundschule bauen und freuen uns über jede Unterstützung.
