About us

Association für hilfebedürftige Tiere was founded out of a Facebook group. We support local people who are taking care for abandoned animals. We assist with animal feed, veterinary medicine, human food and other material and financial assistance. We are all active volunteers. We are a non-profit organisation.

In the year of founding, in 2012, we took some projects under our support. A large part is located in the Ukraine and is maintained by Natasha Romanenko. Our Romanian projects are coordinated by Franziska Boschert, Dorothee Fischer and Jutta Katsiros. Our project in America is run by Urs Weyermann.
