The aim of the association GOVIIN KHULAN is to participate to Mongolian wild Equids conservation (especially the Mongolian wild ass conservation); to resolve human-wildlife conflicts, to cooperate with local researchers, specialists and rangers for wildlife and biodiversity conservation and natural ressources management; to train students et rangers to research on the Mongolian wild ass and to wildlife monitoring; to provide technical support to rangers working in the south Gobi (study area); to participate to information and education of local people to biodiversity conservation and natural ressources management; to implement a community project in which some Mongolian families will be involved for Mongolian wild asses and other endangered wildlife monitoring, and will be trained to create hande-made products to sell in Ulaanbaatar (capital city of Mongolia) and in Europe; and to inform and educate tourists travelling in Mongolia and the Gobi to wildlife and biodiversity conservation by involving them in our project.
